About
Mission
Our mission is to promote and support farm and ranch management education. We accomplish our mission by providing in-service education to our members and by communicating and cooperating with others.
NFRBMEA, Inc. brings the best ideas and techniques in farm and ranch business management education to its members.
History
The first interstate meeting of farm and ranch business management instructors was held in Faribault, Minnesota in 1973. Since then, that group has continued to meet by holding annual conferences throughout the U.S., as well as one conference in Alberta, Canada. In 1985, the organization was named and the constitution was ratified at Pierre, South Dakota.
NFRBMEA, Inc. continues to expand its activities to serve its members. Conferences feature workshops, nationally-known speakers and tours. As of 2007, the conference has been conducted jointly with the National Association of Farm Business Analysis Specialists (NAFBAS) as the National Farm Business Management Conference. The North Central Farm Management Extension Committee (NCFMEC) participates when they meet every three years.
NFRBMEA, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 corporation.
