Doug has been an active member of NFRBMEA for a long time serving on the conference planning committee for two conferences, has served as treasurer of NFRBMEA and has been the treasurer of the National Farm Management Conference since the two groups of NFRMBEA and NAFBAS combined to share in the conference organization.
He has taught Farm Business Management at South Central College in Faribault since 1984. He previously taught FBM in Fairfax and taught veterans agriculture in Danube.
Doug graduated from South Dakota State University and received his Masters degree from the University of Minnesota. He and his spouse Barb have three married daughters and seven grandchildren to keep them hopping.
Doug has been active in local farm organizations and in his church. He likes to garden in his spare time and watch the Minnesota Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, Gophers or any other team with Minnesota on their jersey.
